There are stars up above so far away we only see their light
Long, long after the star itself is gone
And so it is with people that we loved, their memories keep shining
Ever brightly though their time with us is done…
These are the ways we remember.
~ Hannah Senesh
Secular and Humanistic Jewish end-of-life rituals are designed to honor the dead and to comfort and support the living. Our traditions encourage us to keep alive the memories of ancestors and friends by carrying on their good deeds and values. Traditions at the gravesite and at home lend themselves to secular interpretation that offer comfort and support. I will help you to create and will lead for you a meaningful, beautiful ceremony and will join the family for shiva visits.
